I recently found that my FF browser was lagging. New integer = ui.submenuDelay Set to 0 (zero) To help with the "Memory Leaks" in Firefox, create a new: This value is the amount of time the browser waits before it acts on information it receives. New Integer = "" and set its value to "0". Scroll down and look for the following entries: Type "about :config" into the address bar and hit return. Here's something for broadband people that will really speed up Firefox: I thought I could go right to the web and find the link to "Making Firefox Faster", but I couldn't find what I was looking for, so I went to My Documents and there is was, and here it is. #Flash player virus windows 8 update
So I get the update and all's well with the world wide web once again.īut, as with anything you download, read every word of every screen and don't just blindly click, OK, OK, OK, because if you do you'll probably wind up with all sorts of Crapware that you really don't want. I've seen the message, that I need to download the latest version, but only when I've been lax in keeping my own Flash Player up to date. Flash is indeed NOT a part of Windows, but is needed to view much of what's available over the WWW.
